Analytics providers and consent
CustomerConfig currently enables the following analytics providers or controls for this site. Analytics scripts and first-party event measurement load only after consent is accepted in the cookie banner; visitors can choose essential-only mode.
- Google Analytics for aggregated usage and conversion measurement
- Cloudflare Web Analytics for privacy-conscious pageview and performance measurement
- first-party event measurement for calls to action and contact-form outcomes
How your IP address is used
When you submit the contact form or any first-party endpoint that uses Cloudflare Turnstile, your IP address is forwarded to Cloudflare Turnstile for bot verification. This helps us reject automated form spam.
Cloudflare's edge logs also capture your IP address along with request metadata (RayID, host, URL, timestamp) for the operational retention window configured by our active Cloudflare logpush setup.
After lead processing, the stored lead record itself retains only a one-way hash of your IP, not the raw address. The raw address only ever lives in transit (to Turnstile) or in time-bounded edge logs.
Do not sell my personal information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state laws, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Because we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, no further opt-out action is required.
If you have questions or want to confirm the status of your data, contact us at the address in the privacy policy content above.
Third-party processors
We use the service providers below as data processors under GDPR Article 28 and equivalent UK/EU obligations. For EU and UK visitors, transfers to providers in non-adequacy countries rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA).
| Processor | Purpose | Country | Transfer mechanism | DPA / privacy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | CDN, DNS, bot challenge, edge runtime, web analytics | United States | SCCs; UK IDTA | DPA · Privacy |
| Sanity | Content management for site pages, images, editorial | United States (with EU region option) | SCCs; UK IDTA | DPA · Privacy |
| Sentry | Error monitoring and performance observability | United States | SCCs; UK IDTA | DPA · Privacy |
| Resend | Transactional email (lead form + onboarding receipts) | United States | SCCs; UK IDTA | DPA · Privacy |
| Google Analytics 4 | Aggregate site usage, conversion measurement (only when GA4 analytics is enabled for the active site) | United States | SCCs; UK IDTA | DPA · Privacy |
| Stripe | Payment processing (only on routes that take payment; not used for the public marketing site) | United States | SCCs; UK IDTA | DPA · Privacy |
We sign Data Processing Agreements with each processor before they handle personal data routed through our services. The processor list is reviewed at least annually and on each new processor onboarding.
McLuckie Builds operates the website at https://mcluckiebuilds.com. This policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when visitors browse the site, request a working session, or submit an inquiry.
Information We Collect
Contact submissions may include name, email address, phone number, company context, role, and project details.
Technical request data such as IP address, browser details, and abuse-prevention metadata may also be collected for secure operation of the contact workflow.
How We Use Information
Information is used to respond to inquiries, scope and deliver services, communicate about proposals and projects, protect the site from abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
McLuckie Builds does not sell personal information or use ad-tech style behavioral tracking on the site.
Third-Party Services
Cloudflare is used for hosting, delivery, security, and bot mitigation. Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent form abuse. Resend is used for transactional email delivery tied to form notifications.
The site may use privacy-friendly analytics after consent is accepted to understand which pages and calls to action are useful. Analytics identifiers are validated before scripts are loaded.
Third-Party Processors
McLuckie Builds uses selected service providers as data processors to operate and improve the website. Sentry provides error monitoring and troubleshooting, and may process technical request details, device and browser information, URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic context.
Sanity provides content management for website pages, images, and editorial updates, and may process content, asset metadata, editor account details, and operational logs.
Data Retention
Contact submissions and lead details are kept while McLuckie Builds responds to the request, evaluates or delivers the work, supports clients, and maintains routine business records.
Cloudflare analytics and session metrics are used for website operations and retained according to the active Cloudflare analytics configuration. Sentry error events are kept only for troubleshooting and expire according to the active Sentry project retention window.
Security
Reasonable safeguards such as TLS, provider access controls, and operational security practices are used, but no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
